How many times do you see at a corner the defending player with both arms wrapped around the attacker... Surely the refs see this? Got to be a foul?

Apparently it's famous for something, I just can't remember what. Lord this is a slow game.

I was thinking the same. Phillips has been held like that at least twice at corners.

Last time Austin was out there it was a joke, at least he managed to escape to flick a header in BUT I reckon it's a pen every time.... If the refs start giving them you may find there are a lot more goals from corners

I wish I'd gone long on Charlie Austin mentions in commentary.

On the bright side, my 109/1 bet on Henry first goal is still in the running

0-0 at HT. Now that is something you don't see very often!

Another underwhelming 45 minutes of my life I won't get back. Hull seemed to have more threat going forward, both sides lack cutting edge upfront. Just have a feeling Hull may nick this or a boring 0-0, neither an enticement to sit through the second half...

I feel cheated having made the effort to turn the Mac on and find a stream.

We are truly a one player team.

The Big German getting it in the neck from Fatty Robinson.

Polter works hard and Davis is a decent centre half..........Austin mentioned again in HT analysis........But Polter is holding ball up fairly well and trying to bring others into play......

Slightly better than Monday, but not a lot.
At least we have some semblance of shape.
We need to get Chery on the ball more in front of their back four.

Not good but not that bad. With Austin or maybe Jet on the pitch we could gave nicked a goal. Hull look slightly more dangerous though. Is Jet injured as well?

I see Karl Robinson in the half-time analysis made the same comments about Polter, just not good enough at this level. Poor first touch, faffing about to get it on his stronger foot and the chance is gone. It's not being harsh, it's simply stating the bleedin' obvious, he's not good enough...
