Why does he keep saying stuff like this? Listen Tony, if you are committed then you don't need to keep telling us!

Blinkered.
Totally it is what is it
At least I don’t look at things just to give it the big old Ryanair moan

QPR are in a lot better place than what the fickle expected

We have made big improvements yet people just want more and more

I think fans should accept where we are in the now We are not equipped at the moment to match the false expectations they have

I can only do small sessions on this forum as it’s just the same old crap

Fans need to learn how to lose and how to support

From bosingwa to bidwell deal with it

Just what do you want Ellers or expect with our club? We’ve little cash, have some good & average players & are trying this season more so than last season, I don’t expect miracles & haven’t slagged them off or manager, I’ll support them what ever happens.

Jeff I expect like any other fan that my team tries its best and wins as many games as possible.
I also expect to be able to question a manager or owner if things are not going well without fans telling me all is going well and we should not question the Masire "Hollow'. As it happens I have not moaned that much about Hollow of late as I accept he is limited and we have an average team. I also support my club but I won't sit around and take anything without questioning it.

I can just feel you just waiting to pounce, Ellers.

Nope, I have already said I don't expect too much (as long as we finish higher than last season). I just won't be two-faced if things go wrong as I have always said he is not the right man to take us forward. I will say I am impressed by the players commitment though. :emoticon-0148-yes:

We have spent little money and not too much in
the kitty by the sound of it a little bit more luck
and we could have been several places higher

Better than a year ago as most supporters acknowledge.
And are these 'best players' the ones you were probably moaning about? (well maybe not you but some people)

I missed the Ipswich and Millwall games due to annual leave but every other game I've seen at LR has been entertaining bar the Burton game. That is what is better!
Even when we lose, it is still entertaining. That does not negate you long and accurate list of negatives but at least it is a step in the right direction. I think you acknowledge that too anyway.

That's fair. Most of us like the bloke and can see the positives from this season so far but does anyone expect him to be our manager in two or three years?

Much as I like Bircham, he doesn't come across to me as the best foil for Holloway, but that's really only a guess.

Thats also very sound IMO. For me if we could all see forward I would love for us to be in the premier league under Ian Holloway and QPR people and shouting way above what the general fans would expect ...

Say finishing 5th in first season with a team of committed players that have beaten Chelsea home and away and also won a cup maybe

In short a club with a very good team based at LR

Of course dream land but that sort of thing is what made QPR the neutrals favourite team and the best team in London for many many years

That for me is QPR DNA and it needs to be grown again

Hooped shirts, Tight pitch, Outrageously LR loud fans unbeaten at home ... that will do for me

I can promise you hooped shirts.

If he was fit Lambert certainly knows where the goal is. Bassong and Lescott with Premier experience but both past their best and probably too expensive in wages...

Lambert has just announced that he's retiring.

QPR come up short despite late rally - Report
Monday, 2nd Oct 2017 09:55 by Clive Whittingham
QPR made it five games without a win by losing at home to neighbours Fulham on Friday night, despite a late rally in which goalkeeper Alex Smithies came close to scoring a memorable equaliser.

The foundations laid by a better-than-expected August from Queens Park Rangers risk being fatally eroded by a below-par September which culminated in the first home defeat of the season against Fulham on Friday night. Two months, eight weeks and 11 matches into this latest Championship slog, nobody can really be sure whether QPR are actually any good or not.

There are, now, warning signs that Rangers are in trouble, on top of the accepted situation that the club is effectively trying to stand still in the second tier while also halving their wage bill, and then halving it again.

Though the pay roll at Loftus Road has been grossly out of step with performances and results on the field for years now, it is generally accepted by all known studies to be the best possible forecaster of team performance in our sport. More than transfer fees paid, more than investment in academy, more than average attendance, more than turnover, more than merchandise and hospitality sales… wages paid is usually the best indicator of how a team will do. And just because QPR bucked that trend when they were paying ****loads to ****wits doesn’t mean they’ll not suffer from trying to cut 80 to 40 to 20 to 10.
