Is this truth and reconciliation? My turn.

I've been critical of Mackie and have seen nothing to make me change my mind. Indeed I've seen literally nothing, has he had something amputated?

Not sure I've got the hang of this.

Simples. Your turn will come. At some point he will return and be given his chance like everyone else. You will howl with outrage. Mackie will score with a screamer to start a come back and win a play off decider and galvanise us turning a lost game (didn't I say - we'd be 3-0 down with Austin having hobbled off after 70 minutes) into a magnificent last 20 minutes when we score 5. You will be forced to sing the solo in 'Living in a Mackie Wonderland' The stadium will rock. And we will live happily ever after - well until August anyway.

I've commented before that live spectators get a better overall perspective than armchair fans viewing close ups on tv footage. However the close up replays are revealing. Sandro went down like a house of cards in a gentle gust of wind. The beast needs to man up.

Maybe but still a clear foul. I was directly in line with it and couldn't believe that a free out wasn't given.

Diakite isnt in the 25 man squad so he cant play.

Ramsey put Doherty (remember him?) in the squad instead

Agree we need to be more positive. Even though we created chances in the first half did look like we played with the handbrake on.

Didn’t up the tempo really until being 2 down. A points not really good enough on Saturday after dropping 4 points from last 2 games cant really let the gap grow any further

Am impressed by how JFH comes across. Not many Rangers managers that I’ve been able to show that about but with Burton they were in a new league after taking a step up so fans would tolerate a safety first approach. With us we’ve dropped down a league and have more than a few individuals who are better than this league so that combined with the points deficit means we need to approach games more positively than his seemingly natural conservative approach
Is there really a 25 man squad? Thought that was only for the PL, or has it changed?

Hoilett was very good last night. Went on runs and put in some decent crosses and passes. He also tracked back and won a lot of tackles............................

And yet............he still gets slagged off. Even after watching someone play well, some people still can't hide their prejudiced view of that individual.
Quite pathetic really!
I agree Hoilett was good, better than I remember seeing him. Good defensively, good at getting round defenders and good crosses.

Col the problem is unless he's contributing goals and assists then it's not good enough.

Granted he's trying harder undoubtedly at least in part because his overpaid 4 year contract is thank God finally coming to an end.

A broken clock is right twice a day so eventually one of his aimless crosses you think would land on someone's head or at their feet (directly and not via a defender like his most famous cross) but it just doesn't happen no matter how many attempts he has.

Remember one cross in 2nd half after going on good run which was notable because it wasn't scuffed for once but rather than picking out Austin it was too close to the keeper and he caught it no problem.

In Chery's short time here he has already demonstrated his quality and ability to contribute where it matters. Scoring or creating goals.

The depth of your infatuation is shown by using language like it's 'pathetic' if people think he needs to contribute with goals and assists considering the role he is supposed to play. Can't see how you think it anything other than the fair comment that likes of Chery and JET should be considered for this reason instead

I agree that chery should be starting. Except I'd play him instead of Fer who looks to me like he's just going through the motions.
I've repeatedly said that Hoilett has been very disappointing for us, but I've always disagreed with people who say he's just ****.
I agree that he needs to start making chances and maybe he will now that he appears to have regained his confidence.
If he doesn't I'd like to see both chery and luongo start.
