Hasselbaink is useless. Sack him!
WE are still about although i cannot recall saying 'sack him' i just said i didn't think he was the right fit and we should have stayed with NW.
But i will stick by my words and let's hope all the happy clappers stay by him even when things go bad, However, i saw how people turned on Benny after things went wrong for him. I also remember all the 2 faced lot who didn't want Derry and called clint 'over the Hill' when they signed i said they would do a good job and they did.
Anyway
Played well again against a poor Brentford side. I thought Henry did really well. Polter again shows commitment and took his goal well although he really does lack skill. Ref should have let a derby flow a bit more.
The one real talking point should be how 'Clappy Mackie' can get on before Washington? what does say?
Happy again just a shame we could put some results together in his first 15 games.

You never answered me when I asked you to name the happy clappers. It's good to see you are sticking to your principles. Sorry I meant unwilling to make even a token gesture that you might have got it wrong. 15 games. Hmm. Instant success is wonderful but failure to achieve it does not necessarily mean that the manager is useless. Is that all it takes for you to make up your mind? Don't bother answering. I suspect you did before he was appointed. However if you do, please answer the outstanding question first.

A poor Brentford side?

I thought they were one of the best we have seen at the Bush this season.

We appointed a manager that will develop us as a TEAM. That is what he has been doing since he arrived & we are improving week by week.

The reason we didn't put results together until January had passed was because we were showcasing Fer, Sandro, Green etc. A side of individuals rather than a team.

In addition to that the significant increase in training times and intensity, does not allow players to be fresh on match day.

Ideally this should be done pre-season.

Plus if TF and SLF honestly wanted to build long-term, why shouldn't JFH experiment with team and tactics. It is a rarity these days that a manager is allowed that amount of time, before panic decisions.

Best we have seen at the Bush? Was it your second game since Rotherham?
Agree we are improving but don't forget we lost at MK plastics last week without Fer/Sandro and others. It's great to see us win again but i am not getting carried away.

Yes one of the best we have seen. Mind you, Huddersfield & Fulham were better.

Brentford lacked a goal threat but played some very nice stuff. From the top half of the table only Brighton have come close to those three.

We're inconsistent but surely you agree the general trend is a positive one?

Agree we look a lot better than a few games ago but we also need to remember that we couldn't beat Mk/Fulham/Bolton (who were all lower/relegation teams). Not getting carried away.
As i have said Watford, i am happy we are winning. I hate seeing us lose, just seems that a few seem to want a pound of flesh before anything has happened.

Steadily improving each game, thought at times we couldn't work the bees system as they was pushing high up on us & giving us no space, seemed to change after 1st goal & 2nd half, we've just got to sort the away day blues out, not ready prem yet so play off's out of question.

What a great result.
JFH is now picking the rightplayers Iin the right positions consistently.

Well done Jimmy.

Yes, its better not trying to run before you can walk properly.. For me the next two matches will show the direction of where we are going but im not even dreaming of the play off spot. Still, 9 points from 4 matches goals 7-2...Looking reasonable good.

Wow, two cracking back to back games. It wasn't as easy as it looked though. Brentford knocked it around nicely and pressed well as they overloaded their midfield and played without a striker. It was an evenly matched contest until Hoilett's fabulous goal went into the top right hand corner which left their goalie Button flapping at thin air. Judge went close with a long range shot and Canos with another that had the away end on their feet and thinking it was in as it hit the side netting. The impressive ginger Ryan Woods hit the post with a long range effort.

Two well taken goals within five minutes in the second half were well executed by Polter and Chery. Both played in with good passes from Chery and Faurlin respectively which sealed the game.

Another home win, another clean sheet, and seven goals from our last three games at HQ. Things are looking up at the moment. A first home win in seventeen London derby day attempts, it was another good day to be at the Ranger's.
