That's a fair comment, but any outcome is likely to cause a disruption - but which is the most serious?

For example:

1/ Q.P.R given points deduction, puts them into play-offs. Q.P.R appeal decision and come play-off time we still do not know:
a) who has been promoted.
b) which teams are in the play-offs.
c) Potential that 6th placed team actually have to play champions of The Championship.

2/ Points deduction imposed next season. Examples of consequences:
a) Team that finished 3rd could rightly take this as punishment of guilt, in which case are they due compensation as points deducted following season (ala Sheff Utd in reverse)?
b) As you quite rightly point out, Q.P.R still get Promo money etc.

Obviously there are more, but I am bored of myself now.

It's a tough one, I can't see how the Premier League / Championship can possibly deal with this without future claims from other teams. Don't envy them - can't really win as somewhere, somehow their decision will have knock on effects.
 
Surely there has to come a time when the FA or FL or whothehellever say " Look, these are the rules, you broke them, you have no right of appeal" I mean, for Christ's sake, someone has to see sense
 
RangersHQ-Norfolk - I don't bear you and your fans any ill-will at all, it's all been said so many times, for the sake of a couple of greedy men, any form of points deduction is punishing the innocent majority, I really hope you avoid a points deduction <ok>
 
haha - well, that settles it then!They have made their decision and I'm happy with that. Derry was very complimentary about Norwich, so I hope you don't see any ill fate from this rubbish.

Now, just hope Reading go up...for my football teams managers sake.
 
There is no point in punishing a team against the teams it has had no affect on. i.e. why give th PL bottom teams an advantage of QPR starting with massive points deduction. The only punishment that should be affected should be on those it has also affected, i.e. the other championship teams, its only fair that they would benefit (after all the player has also played against them). A massive points deduction if found guilty to QPR would only have QPR contest it, a lenient punishment would have many contest it from 3rd to 7th i am sure.

There is no point ignoring the facts here that 7 charges have been upheld till now and without digress, no matter what the clubs officials say they are being brought to task over there actions right or wrong and can you ever remember such serious charges from the FA ever being let off with a slap on the wrist? Answers on a post card pls.... no matter how long this takes to get sorted i think now more than ever after the FA issuing statement about late playoffs is the biggest signal yet of what coming reading between the lines.

I do not wish QPR any malice, but if found to have cheated then they should only be dealt down with the same sword as swindon, luton, leeds et al. no one is above rules no matter how much money you have got.......... and in QPR's case this really could show how stronger hand the FA has got if not they will be seen to be weak in the face of money....... set as an example?
