A lot of this sounds like bitterness. Either all the investment will "work", or it won't. If it works, we'll be a small club who were made successful by rich owners. I can completely understand why that would grate with you- and i'd be feeling exactly the same if our positions were switched. Of course you want us to fail. Like it or not, we have reputable sensible owners(finally), and we're not the sort of fans to take promises blindly. You try putting up with Flavio and bernie for four years! QPR fans are cynical by nature, we've been through enough crap. If we're not too worried about the current situation, then you shouldn't be.
I don't think anyone can postulate regarding where we'll be in 10 years time. If the owners are still around, and we have a new stadium, why wouldn't europe be a possibility?
The fact is, QPR isn't supposed to be a profit making asset for the owners in itself. It's supposed to compliment the rest of their companies(ie. Air Asia etc). Owning a premiership club is an incredibly powerful marketing tool.
