QPR a global brand? Someone's got a sense of humour. They are Virgin Cola to the Coke/Pepsi/Dr Pepper of the big three London clubs. A more realistic ambition is to be bigger than Fulham then West Ham and try to start to compete with the likes of Arsenal/Spurs/Chelski.

I hope they don't implode like Pompey/Rangers but I see that as a more likley scenario than European glory. I could be very wrong but I don't see it happening although had you asked me if I thought Blackburn would win the top division in my lifetime just after Jack Walker took over I'd have probably laughed in your face so stranger things have happened.

A lot of this sounds like bitterness. Either all the investment will "work", or it won't. If it works, we'll be a small club who were made successful by rich owners. I can completely understand why that would grate with you- and i'd be feeling exactly the same if our positions were switched. Of course you want us to fail. Like it or not, we have reputable sensible owners(finally), and we're not the sort of fans to take promises blindly. You try putting up with Flavio and bernie for four years! QPR fans are cynical by nature, we've been through enough crap. If we're not too worried about the current situation, then you shouldn't be.
I don't think anyone can postulate regarding where we'll be in 10 years time. If the owners are still around, and we have a new stadium, why wouldn't europe be a possibility?
The fact is, QPR isn't supposed to be a profit making asset for the owners in itself. It's supposed to compliment the rest of their companies(ie. Air Asia etc). Owning a premiership club is an incredibly powerful marketing tool.

[plus no, i'm not completely happy with the summer signings. C'est la vie!]

QPR as a global brand is the funniest **** i've heard in quite some time. It's a business model and a technique thats been used before and has completely failed. I have no reason to believe that this will work. It's just a tool for aging footballers to earn money without going to China or the US.

What a terrible response. A global brand is brand that appeals globally right? Well we've just sold 100,000 shirts in asia apparently, so i'm not sure why the idea shouldn't be concievable 10 years down the line. You know the business model and "techniques" of our owners intimately do you? Why not enlighten us, it's rare to speak to a business guru on Not606. Why are aging footballers an essential part of this business model? Are they somehow in cahoots with the ownership(considering it's just a "tool" of their's to earn money)?

I'm not a finacial expert but the same model your following has been all over the news the last few years. And if you think this is just a "little old Norwich" thing, think again, your not going to find many football fans in the country that like the way you do business.

If it works, it works. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Frankly why any Norwich fan would give a toss either way is beyond me.

Don't talk about QPR, it only invites Swords, it's taking longer than anticipated to implement his TOTAL ban!
