As per the poll done on our Board a week or so ago, Redknapp is considered by far the better Manager. Obviously both Clubs have different needs and perhaps Benitez wouldn't be the man for a relegation scrap. Alan Curbishly even came in ahead of him in our poll!

All the Scouse ramblings about Rafa is frankly cringe-worthy. Benitez has a very poor PL record. Spent truck loads of cash yet delivered fu*k all.

Would you Chelsea boys prefer 'Arry over Rafa?

Which of them has won more?
Which of them is managing a top 4 club?
Which is managing a relegation team?

I think you probably know the answer then.

<laugh>

The only thing Harry is better at is relegating clubs, bankrupting clubs, and being English.

Rafa speaks better English though

Benitez won one decent trophy in 6 or 7 years of spending the owners money at Liverpool. He's since been sacked by Inter.

I don't know why people think that that bloke is any good. Its unbelievable that you sacked your most successful Manager in years for this turkey.

Still one more than 'arry then <doh>

At QPR our priority is obviously not winning Cups. So for PL records alone, Benitez' is piss poor. 'Arry took Spuds from the basement to the top four and delivered a top 4 last year too. It doesn't really matter an awful lot what Benitez has won in foreign leagues when he's proven to be below average in the English League.

Robbie Di Matteo is a bright, up and coming Manager and a Chelsea legend yet you ditch him for this reject. Says it all about your Club right now.

Then give him the job.

The difference being, that Chelsea are a side that holds the CL, have a squad rammed with top notch talent & are that good that I could probably manage them into the top 4 this season. All Benitez has to do is turn up & perusade Roman to get buy a striker in Jan.

Redknapp has to somehow turn a collection of individuals with no team spirit, sat on 4 points from 11 games, in a team that will need to produce top 6 form to escape the drop.

Harry Redknapp is a massive bellend. He's so ****ing cringeworthy.

Any good player who comes to the Prem he's been chasing at some point. When he was on MOTD and they were talking about how good Cazorla's performance was. First thing he said when they spoke to him "We were chasing him at Spurs". **** off mate, instead of chasing all these players why not sign them instead and you might have won a few more trophies during your career. The guy is an absolute cock.

I don't particularly like Rafa but there is absolutely no way i'd want Harry Redknapp over Benitez, **** that.

4 points from 12 actually and soon to be 13 after tomorrow!!

Still, I don't think he'll need top six form to stay up. There's 26 games left and we're still only a couple of wins from safety. I agree it looks bad but its not completely hopeless. Remember the great escape Hodgson performed with Fulham?

5th, 3rd, 3rd, 4th, 2nd, 7th.

Not bad for someone with a poor PL record eh Swords, throw in a CL trophy and an FA Cup and another CL final.

He spent £78m in 6yrs.

@ Swords Hoopster...

As much as I believe Benitez is an utter clown, I wouldn't say that he is necessarily any better or any worse than Harry, right now.

What I would agree on, however, is that, of the two, you would be far better off with Harry at the helm, because he has the kind of experience that you need right now. Furthermore, Harry gets the best out of his players by putting a fatherly arm around their shoulders and getting them to believe in themselves again, which is what your entire squad needs right now. Benitez is not that kind of manager.

Beware, though!

When Harry took over at Spurs, we were clearly a side that was far too good to be bottom of the league; QPR isn't. When Harry took over at Spurs, he had a large and talented pool of players to work with, and merely lifting their spirits and morale was sufficient to set us on a winning streak that has been as good as anything I can remember. His job with QPR is going to be far less dramatic and much more of a dog-fight, and there is every chance that even he might not be able to do it.

If he does take over at QPR, I will wish him well, regardless of the fact that I believe his dream of lifting the World Cup for England cost us 3rd spot, last season.

If Harry gets it wrong with all his expensive mates on the payroll and your terrible support: the worst in the Prem, administration beckons

I said at the top that that is of no relevance to a side that only has designs on League position. Nice try though Horse!

Have you looked at the QPR squad Hoddle? I read somewhere that since Jan we've been the 5th highest spenders in the Country! We signed a player from Real that Mourinho said was one of the best he's ever worked with! We signed a GK from Inter that was considered the best in the World only two years ago! We've got more raw talent there than you might realize mate.

But I take your point in that it will be a real slog. Not impossible though.
