Lol. Imagine being Scottish and not knowing Glasgow is lowlands.

Lowlands league table. Note Celtic and Rangers sides. Evidence mounting....

Rubbish, Glasgow is in the Central Belt, & always has been. Then again, if it's a map from t'internet, it must be true. To the gullible.

Far be it from me to argue with a local… but i think you need to brush up on your own topgraphy and geography WJ. <laugh>

The central belt is part of the lowlands - highlands/lowlands separated by a geographical fault that made one bit low and one bit high. Not many Ben's in Glasgow.

When you’ve got the hang of the whole lowlands/highlands thing - you can debate with wakey over the jacobites, culloden… clans murdering each other and selling out for a few sheep whenever it suited them - how many times Robert the Bruce changed sides etc when he wasn’t murdering his fellow rebellion leaders.

Out of interest, what side(s) did clan WJ fight on?

Not sure what any of it has to do with a mildly amusing and harmless quip by mccoist to be fair… but couldn’t resist wading in regardless. <laugh>

Trust you had a good party night in Argentina yesterday fella and found a steak house that was up to scratch <cheers>. Also hope your crusie pilot's geography is better than yours and they don't take you round cape horn in a storm, thinking its the cape of good hope!

Nope, check the link (I even posted a map).

If you think Glasgow is in the Scottish highlands, please cite a source backing your false assertion.

I used to live in the Glasgow area (Hamilton) and Whitejock is completely wrong. Glasgow is absolutely NOT in the Highlands.
