Isn't it that one of the girls was so traumatised during the first trial she can't face going through the same again.
Not sure Giggs will find it easy as time goes on.

Definitely think he's a very damaged "brand" now and the FAW won't want to countenance him coming back because of the message it would send out publicly (regardless of the outcome and his now "innocent" status, he's been branded a woman beater and always will be in the court of public opinion and social media).

I do however echo the comments on Osian Roberts. He's always come across as the brains behind the scenes and we'd do well to bring him back into the Welsh set up and/or the City if VT would relent and Bulut was accepting of it.

I thought friendly internationals had been scrapped.
Page has stated he could do without playing Korea tonight.
I don’t know about ticket sales but can’t imagine there’ll be a full house.

Hardly something to say if he wants to motivate the players.

And he's waving 2 fingers at those fans (me and BT at least) who have spent our hard earned money to go and watch.

If whatever team he puts out gives a limp performance and they lose in Latvia he could be looking for a new job next week.

I think Page is the kind of boss that can keep things going from a predecessor. Unfortunately, in football especially international football, that attribute has a limited shelf life. I'm not inclined to be overly critical in light of the circumstances of his appointment. However, with a team in transition, someone with an element of originality is probably now needed. With respect to Page, I don't feel he has the ability to be innovative. He also seems a bit jaded now.

A question for all you football geeks.

I’ve been looking at the European Championship league tables and some teams are shown in bold print. I’ve also seen this before in World Cup tables, for example.

So unless it’s some kind of seeding thing, could someone let me know because it’s been bugging me for ages.

    Interesting question.
It only appears to be the case on the BBC website. I looked at others including UEFA official site and none of them show some teams in bold text.
    BT will know the answer.

Wales just carved Korea open (13 mins). Good save by their keeper.

Rambo and possibly Kieffer to come on second half. Moore really needs the game time.

Relatively entertaining game for a 0-0.

We do need to learn to move the ball a little quicker at times though.

Thought Rambo looked bright when he came on, though I definitely had mixed emotions watching him take to the field... really don't want to risk him getting a knock.

Saw the last 30 minutes - entertaining as BB said and close to winning.
Probably a worthwhile exercise in hindsight - give some youngsters international experience. (Even if two of those were integral to our capitulation at Ipswich last week:emoticon-0138-think)
No additional time in 2nd half with a stack of subs & injuries????

They wouldn't pay the ref time and a half for added time.

Apart from giving some youngsters and Moore and Ramsey game time before Latvia it was a pretty meaningless exercise and the game became disjointed with all the subs.

Biggest plus for me was the Birmingham boy, James, in midfield. Very controlled, linked play well and we were much less effective when he was subbed off. Could be really useful in the future.

In saying all that Kieffer should have scored with the header that hit the woodwork and Ramsey could easily have knocked in the rebound.

It was good to see Klinsmann back in Cardiff but disappointing not see a few dives from the maestro.
