Heard a story or two a bit back that suggested discipline issues and factions in the dressing room.

If I was Lester I'd make Eddie Howe #1 choice. He'd be a good fit.

Leave a pleasant place to live like the area around Bournemouth, with a supportive chairman who backs you financially but keeps in the background to go to a dump like Leicester? I think it will take a lot bigger club than them to drag Howe away. Which will no doubt happen some time in the not too distant future given the job he has done.

Yes, B'mouth is a lovely place. Like God's waiting room. I think Leicester is one up from B'mouth before he takes one of the top jobs or the next Eng-err-land boss.

Eddie Howe deserves a bigger job than Leicester given what he has done for Bournemouth in his first and second spell at the club.

The issue is his name isn't fancy enough. If he was in Germany, Italy or Spain he would be managing one of the top four teams from those countries. You look at Sarri at Chelsea got a chance after performing miracles at Empoli too manage the second best team in Italy (At the time), doesn't happen here. They get passed over for managers from abroad who will get sacked in 2 years and replaced with another.

Can you tell I am a huge Howe fan....

I said the area around Bournemouth. If you would rather live in that dump Leicester good luck to you. Can't understand why more don't retire there it being so good. Why is Leicester a step up from Bournemouth? For the reasons I wrote, he is better off at Bournemouth until a really big job comes up.
