No but they might aswel be, it means you can still go but only with members of your own household which to be fair the north east went bezerk after lockdown, the first day the first picture I saw was my 22 year old nephew in a group photo with about 15 of his mates all holding pints with arms round each other
Yeh that’s ok but when you get there other people will be there Of course I will keep my distance but will that be allowed
Up to now but you have to wear a mask on entry and exit, if you need the toilet or smoke, and table service only on your own or you could get this : Sunderland visit Charlton Athletic in Sky Bet League One action this Saturday, looking to claim a third consecutive league win after Grant Leadbitter’s penalty steered the Lads to a 1-0 victory over Peterborough United last time out. The pubs will start closing I would imagine, get a streaming pass and get the beers in, joking aside mate, personally not worth the risk, my neighbour has covid and the noises coming through the walls are horrific
So I take it you're basically trying to find out if you and your mates can still go and watch the match in the pub. I guess the simple answer is that you shouldn't (obviously) but loads will. If you turn up with 5 others they can't really make you prove that you live together (you might only have a passport for ID which wouldn't have your address on). And if we're being honest many pubs won't really want to stop you. After all if they can only serve people on their own or out with household members, they'll all be bankrupt pretty quickly. So I'm guessing the vast majority would let you in and let you get a table together and they'd take their chances. Then it's just the potential risk of someone coming to enforce it. There's likely not many enforcers going around, and I'd guess they'd target the owner of the pub more than the individuals sitting there. Personally I wouldn't be doing it. The more who try to get around things like this, the more chance they'll end up just closing the pubs completely, the longer it'll be before we can get back into stadiums and the more chance of another full lockdown. But equally I can understand people thinking that if they're allowed to travel on a metro and go to work, they should be able to go to a pub. So it's likely up to you, but in theory I don't think pubs will be turning people away. It's actually one of my bugbears, I feel like the government are hanging pubs out to dry. If they just shut them (which, if they think they're a cause of the infection rate rising they probably should) they'd be pressured to give financial support. Instead they say they're open but, legally, make them so unappealing to visit that it would decimate them, and can get away without having to bail them out. Really feel for pubs trying to keep going with all these restrictions.
Just had a tel call you can go to a pub on you own to watch the match but must have a table booked to allow you to social distance after table service and wear a mask at all times when not drinking
Cases didn’t spike when the pubs reopened. Cases spiked when flights resumed and uni and schools returned. Pubs reopened 4th July and the rise was end august. It’s a joke and it’s gonna cost tens of thousands of jobs.
If the pub is doing things correctly you will need the track & trace app on your device the link is above otherwise they should/could refuse entry
You do not have to have the track and trace app on your phone.. Loads of phones are not compatible and loads do not own mobile phones.
