I think ofh has already given the correct answer, 7, earlier in the thread, possibly missed in the confusion over cows, sheep etc.

Blackburn Rovers (yes them) beat "The Wednesday" 6-1 in 1890 and Blackpool beat Bolton Wanderers 4-3 in the so-called "Matthews Final" of 1953.
