They are, however, declining at most clubs. The person I sit next to at work is Spanish and a Valencia fan and he has said that they need to start re-filling their stadium in order that they can have the money to finish the building of the new one which was suspended 2 years ago. The way it is going though, by the time they have the money, they'll need to demolish what they've done and restart.

Interesting isn't it but not seemingly affecting English clubs (top two leagues at least). I was quite surprised by some of the Italian clubs but then again I'm not sure how much it costs and all the other things that might affect 'demand'.
