I remember looking it up a few years back and was surprised that's 'all' he was to the town, so was a little surprised he had a stand named after him... must have done some good things at the school.

Apparently he banned football at WGS in favour of rugby - or so an Old Boy told me.

O.K. Which town or city in England has the highest population density ? i.e. people per square mile within the town or city boundaries. Town or City meaning here a unitary authority.

Dover has a population density of 4,994 inhabitants per square kilometre which is high but not the highest. The place I am thinking of has city status.

I' ll give it to you Kev because the answer is in there. Portsmouth is the answer - because of being very nearly on an island the density is 5,139 people per square kilometre - higher than that of Greater London. Over to you Kev. Sorry it took so long but I've only just got back from work.
