Pollock is one of five people to have achieved this central London feat. But he did it differently (and is the only person ever to do it the way he did it), so was by far the quickest.

Yes. Flt Lt Pollock flew his Hawker Hunter through Tower Bridge, the only jet flight to do this (there have been four other propeller-powered efforts). He did it to mark the 50th anniversary of the RAF, which he believed was not being accorded appropriate recognition, and was quietly arrested and retired from the RAF under health grounds.
