Steve Sherwood?
At long last!!

In his chapter in the book Rocket Men, Steve Sherwood says that when he was around 17 he played for Sheffield Wednesday in a testimonial for Milburn. Sam Ellis was the Wednesday captain, and when Milburn was awarded a penalty Steve saved it. Sam asked him why he had saved it - telling him that he was supposed to let him score.

Over to you.

Thanks Andy. On a similar theme, which player was born in Herts to a Watford player, had the same name as his father, played as a professional in the same position as his father, but didn't play in England?

A clue: Dad received two international caps while he was at Watford.
