At long last!!Steve Sherwood?
At long last!!
In his chapter in the book Rocket Men, Steve Sherwood says that when he was around 17 he played for Sheffield Wednesday in a testimonial for Milburn. Sam Ellis was the Wednesday captain, and when Milburn was awarded a penalty Steve saved it. Sam asked him why he had saved it - telling him that he was supposed to let him score.
Over to you.

I couldn't work out why Sheffield Wednesday would play a 17 year-old keeper who wasn't on their books. Apparently he was there having a trial.I never realised he played that game!
