That’s it. David McCallum Jnr we all know as agent Illya Kuryakin in ‘The Man from U.N.C.L.E.’, where he received MGM’s highest amount of fan mail (exceeding Elvis), but his father, David McCallum Snr, was lead violinist with London Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic and played on the Beatles’ ‘A Day in the Life’.

All yours Bodbo <applause> Just to explain - at the Royal meeting with King Francis the first of France at the Field of the cloth of gold (Nr. Calais) over 3 days of jousting Henry challenged Francis to a bout of Cornish wrestling (Henry being an expert at this and only 29 at the time) the result was that our famous monarch was thrown over the French King's shoulder <doh> in a move known as 'The Flying Mare' and consequently lost. This famous royal duel was evened up by Henry winning at archery. So the clue to the riddle is that 'the flying mare' is the name of a throw in Cornish wrestling (also in other types of wrestling). Take it away.

Actually I'm not sure ~I deserve to 'win'. That's why I only gave the name of the King. I realised it was to do with the Field of the Cloth of gold, but thought it was connected to a ceremony at the end, to do with throwing dragons or some such into the air. Hey ho.

Anyway, what links Gloucestershire, Northamptonshire & Somerset ?
