After their formation as a professional club in 1886 they played at no less than 13 home venues - including the London Scottish Rugby Ground, Wormwoods Scrubs, the Kilburn Cricket Ground and the Royal Agricultural Society showgrounds before moving to Loftus Road in 1917 - they later had 2 spells at the White City Stadium before settling finally at Loftus Road permanently in 1963. Cheers cologne - didn't realise it was that many. I knew they had been at White City a couple of times - am sure I saw us play them there in the early 60's - and remember having a laugh about them when told they once played at Wormwood Scrubs.

A couple of years ago I read a discussion on Quora about which animal had the strongest jaws - I think the term used when measuring/comparing was 'bite force', and they were rated in newtons. PSI normally means pounds per square inch, which doesn't make sense to me as 'pounds' aren't a measure of force - so I'm not overly sure what PSI stands for in this instance. The numbers you mention don't ring any bells either - they all sound rather low. What I do remember is that the agreement was that hippos had the strongest bite of all mammals - they were ranked third behind the great white shark and the saltwater crocodile which, of course, aren't mammals.

You are actually there BB. Bite force was/is measured in PSI (pounds of pressure per square inch) - the grey wolf, cheetah and lion don't have very strong bites - compared to us they certainly do but not compared to eg. tigers at 1,050 PSI, gorillas at 1,300 PSI or Jaguars at nearly 2,000. You are right about the hippos - they have the strongest PSI amongst mammals - though exactly why they need it I don't know. Over to you.
Hippos probably need strong bites for protection. They can bite a crocodile in half apparently, and also sprint at up to 30mph. Bit like hornets when faced with liver birds.

I’ve updated the question. I was unaware there was a loan involved. The player came to us from Notts County.
