He produced programmes using that technique but he famously created programmes similar to, but much earlier than, Postman Pat. And he didn't design McLaren F1.

There may be the McLaren F1 team, but there's also the McLaren F1 road car, that was designed by Gordon Murray, who was involved with the F1 design team before that. The man responsible for the "Trumptonshire Trilogy" - Trumpton, Camberwick Green and Chigley, was also called Gordon Murray.
