I think this one has gone on long enough so I'm giving you this one, BB. There is a suburban area of Birmingham known as California. Its position meant it was originally in Northfields which was then classified as Worcestershire. It was later incorporated into the Edgbaston area of Birmingham. I think it got its name from a pub called the California Inn, established by a man called Flavell who was said to have gone to California during the Gold Rush.

I stumbled across this a good while ago on Facebook, and only one person gave the correct answer according to the poster. Not being too trusting a person, I decided to set this up as an experiment for my class - and found that the answer given was indeed correct.
And it wasn't number 4...

And you would be right, according to our class research. 3 and 4 would be full at the same time whilst 1 and 2 would never fill. Mind you, we didn't have time to experiment with the tap fully open....

None of them - the tank that the water was stored in before the tap was turned on was already full! (My dad was a plumber)
