You are in the right area - it is to do with ITFC & WFC.Played for ITFC before Watford, Jock did it the other way?
You are in the right area - it is to do with ITFC & WFC.
Actually, your answer is so clever - and correct, I'll give it to you.
My answer was that only Jock Carter ever actually played for Watford, although all of them were on WFC's books at some time (before WW2) which was a bit complicated. So , anyway, well done -over to you.

Gotta think of a question now...How can Sir Paul McCartney be linked with two Oscar wins?
'Paul McCartney has won once with the Beatles, and has been nominated for two more awards.' ??How can Sir Paul McCartney be linked with two Oscar wins?
This is about winners. So you're half-way there: he won an Oscar with his fellow Beatles.'Paul McCartney has won once with the Beatles, and has been nominated for two more awards.' ??
The win was in 1971 for Let it be. Best adapted score I think. This is about winners. So you're half-way there: he won an Oscar with his fellow Beatles.
Now you're looking for a more tenuous link between him an Oscar winning...
1927... 1928... and most pertinently for the answer... 1929.The win was in 1971 for Let it be. Best adapted score I think.
You need to go back before he was born. I did say tenuous!
Yep... I said it was tenuous! The silent film ''Wings'' won the best picture award in 1929 ?

You're getting there Frenchie - I ate this in Ghent - Belgium has the highest percentage of vegetarians in Europe. The question does relate only to Europe and so the Czech Republic is correct for 'B'. Goat and Lamb is indeed Greece. The UK is wrong for chicken. It is indeed France or Portugal for wine but which ? Only a few to go.The dish is found in Belgium. It is a French variation of one made with wine rather than beer.
The largest consumers of rabbit and beer are China. If Europe only then Czech Republic?
The largest consumers of chicken, probably the UK
Goat and lamb meat, possibly Greece?
Wine drinking. France or Portugal.
Still thinking about this.
Seeing as there is a reported slump in sales here, I guess Portugal. You're getting there Frenchie - I ate this in Ghent - Belgium has the highest percentage of vegetarians in Europe. Correct Frenchie - Portugal are European champions in wine guzzling - often Vinho Verde which is quite palatable. Only chicken, beef, pork and fish/seafood (most and least) to goSeeing as there is a reported slump in sales here, I guess Portugal.
