    Barnes, 7; Jenkins, 6; (blank), 6.

Not Luther. He had 5 at this point.

Will have to revise that answer - he never scored that many.

But I'm confused - are the totals you refer to only League goals or are you including cup goals? You have Jenkins down as scoring 6, but he only scored 5 in the League - but adding in cup goals would give him 11, all of which he had scored before the end of December.

I think Cally has already been ruled out.

    Is correct. Over to you.
I’ll post the picture proof later, for some reason I can’t now. :emoticon-0138-think

Cheers andy - I didn't think I was right with that...

Something happened in a recent match between Benfica and Sporting Lisbon that was both unusual and a first. What was it?

Is this the white card to praise sporting behaviours?

Yes - a bit of a crazy idea really. The ref waved a white card at the medical staff of Benfica who had come on to the pitch to help an injured Sporting player.

    Back to you.

    Thanks, BB.

Where, or on what, did Peter Shilton do his training the day before the 1980 European Cup Final?

On the grass in a roundabout, indeed. It was the only bit of grass they could find near the hotel. The rest of the team didn’t train, Cloughie wouldn’t let them, but Shilton said he needed to feel a ball. So Cloughie said Shilts and only Shilts, could train. The coach could only find this roundabout, which he cleared of rocks and stones.
    Over to you.

    Cheers andy.

Which football match set two world records - and what were those records?

(Fingers crossed that one of them was a record - I just can't find anything to refute it.)

Was this the game when the world record score of 149-0 was the final score, with the losing team scoring 149 own goals?

Close - it was the game where the original records were set. Although agreed to by the Guinness Book of Records, that 149-0 match isn't considered to be a legitimate game - the one I'm referring to is.

Right on two counts - plus it wasn't even in England.
