I don't think that St. Patrick banished the snakes from Ireland on Oct. 4th - which could have made them happy. Could it be that Oct 4 is a biological factor which enables the self renewal of stem cells, the possession of which allows them to have such long bodies, which I guess they would be happy about - otherwise they could have ended up like rats (nothing of course against rats - pc and all that).Sticking to that theme...
