Say if I wanted one a week, I would choose the £8.16 option meaning that I would get 2 films at once?

You'd get 2 discs, then once you'd sent those 2 back, you'd get the other 2 and that'd be it until the next month.
But if you watch one of the first 2 one week, then send that 1 back, you'd get sent a 3rd, then watch and send the 2nd one back the second week, you'd then get sent the 4th, do the same with the 3rd and so on.

Plus you'd get the 4 hours of viewing some of the films online.
