I'm more of a realist, however I've changed my mind about a protest we have to just get on with it.
Hate when people just call every player **** when they leave one club to another, like a few of you have just done, and then claim that they have always said this. It looks proper bitter.
On-Topic - Protest's never seem to work, and usually make the situation worse. But there are some people who will never say no to one and that is the problem now-a-days.

If there was gonna be a protest I'd rather as many people as possible turned up. It just looks ****ing stupid if it's only a few people. We need proper fans there like Liverpool did with their protests. When you have that, it goes from a few chavs kicking up a fuss to many true fans fighting for their club. People respect it.
Plus, the bigger the protest, the more media coverage against Ashley. A protest isn't just about a bunch of people chanting 'Ashley out'. It's a PR stunt.

All 3 were good servants no doubt. I still stand by what I said with Nolan being rather poor, despite his goals.
Im thankful, he took control of the changing room. Im thankful for his goals and performances in the Championship.
Im just not happy, how Nolan, seemed to turn on the club so quick. By claiming Barton should escape. It wasnt needed.
And, in hindsight. Barton leaving is for the best. Especially seen as the fans are wanting a protest. He'd have probably joined them.
Agree with this - Nolan hasn't played well for West Ham. I have heard West Ham fans say this so I am quite happy about it tbh
What are we protesting about? The squad is as strong, if not stronger than it was a few months ago (In My Opinion, feel free to disagree). And we have made a good deal of getting rid of our high earners, which is good for our future (when the new financial rules come in), and we've strengened by replacing old high earners with young, high potential players.

Thats what I thought. We're potentially protesting because we only got one striker, think about the likes of Everton who haven't signed anyone seemingly in years, or Wigan who've sold off their very best players year on year (Palacios, Valencia, N'zogbia, presumably Rodellega next). We're a pretty strong midtable club as it stands and currently in the European places (early days...), any protest just looks silly.
Stupid to whom? As an outsider, I think it makes them look passionate. If you're willing to boycott and demonstrate against the status quo at your club, it shows you care about it.
German fans boycott all the time when they think ticket prices are too high or clubs are behaving unacceptably. Are they idiots too?
What the ****'s the point in boycoutting? So what if we didn't spend way too much on an average striker, our finances are improving, there's a chance we'll sign someone good in January, i honestly don't think it's as bad as so many people are making out.
Sure Ashley's a knobhead, but at the moment all he's doing is improving our finances and ****ing about with the stadium and team a bit. As long as we stay up and keep most of our decent players (Colo, Jonas, Krul, Saylor, Cabaye, Tiote etc) then i'm happy to grin and bear with what's going on. I mean it's not like we can't get the sportsdirect signs torn down when a new owner comes in; something that'll happen much quicker if we just shut the **** up and keep supporting the team!
More support can = better results = more money from higher finish = Ashley out quicker

Agree, that the Carroll deal as a bloody good sale, but come on!!! What's the point in selling our best players if we don't invest ONE PENNY in any new players, and instead make a profit of 600K! It's not all doom and gloom, but we needed a striker before carroll, and replacing him with an injury prone, inexperienced player with half a season of EPL experience doesn't cut it for me. If Ashley wanted to show ambition, he would have bought a quality, proven goalscorer. If you can't see how badly we are missing one, there must be something wrong with you!
You can't say that yet in my opinion weve looked **** but got points and that won't last
We don't need to protest to show we care about our team - everyone knows our fans care about our team - we are the best supporters in the world!!
