Condolences to greeny. I thought they had done it when they went 3-2 up but badly let down by Sunderland

Thanks Ron but if I'm totally honest it was not that unexpected today. All I can say is that our players put in a proper shift and at least won the game which is all they could do. If you get the chance have a look at their second goal to draw level. Our keeper signalled to the Ref that he was injured and then tried to throw the ball out to get treatment. One of their players raced to rescue it from the touch line, turned, went into the middle and chipped our keeper to score. It was the worst sportsmanship I have ever witnessed in a game. To add insult the player celebrated, a couple of his team mates congratulated him, their fans celebrated along with their management indicating it was ok and they should just carry on. The Ref had no choice but to allow the goal as it doesn't really breach rules. They lost anyway but if they had not I shudder to think what the morons would have done at the end of the game. I don't condone violence but it might have been carnage. Scunthorpe are disgusting and deserve their fate. We will face them again next season now and I hope the morons won't remember too much about today. I hope all at Scunthrope are thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

Did you see that incident in the Leeds v Villa match greeny? Similar thing happened with Leeds scoring but from the ko the Leeds players all stood out of the way and let Villa walk the ball into the net. A real treat to proper sportsmanship.

I didn't see it Ron but have obviously heard about the goings on. The Scunthorpe Chairman has said his apologies about it but I don't think it will cut much ice with those there today. It says a lot about his Manager and staff who clearly didn't think there was anything wrong with it. It was shocking and could easily have caused the whole place to have kicked off. If my club did that I would be livid and shouting the odds at them for it. Their fans though thought it was ok as well which says a lot about them. As said though it didn't decide our season which was fortunate.

As you say Greeny awful decision by the player & the club as a whole, it was obvious what was happening there was no Plymouth player anywhere near where the goalkeeper had tried to put the ball out of play.

Well it moves us up a peg or two with some of the Plymouth fans as they must hate Scunthorpe more than us now get the right management team in and you will come straight back up I just hope we are still here when that happens

It looks like we could have at least one club below us next season in League 1 Bolton look like they are going to get at least a 12pts deduction at least & maybe more for failing to play their last game.

That's two good home gates with Pompey & Sunderland visiting again. Wonder if we will end up playing Accrington away in December again, when the new fixtures come out on the 20th June.
