Auto Promotions. Lincoln promoted. The other 2 will come from Bury, Mansfield, MK Dons (all guaranteed at least a Play Off place) and Tranmere

if you beat Scunthorpe greeny you have a decent chance of staying up as Southend are hardly likely to beat Sunderland (unless Sunderland field a weakened side since they can't get auto promotion and are guaranteed play offs).

If you draw there is a very slim chance you stay up. If you lose

It's a must win game on Saturday. Can't believe it has come to this. You were sailing, we were sinking, and somehow you finish below us. Given our disastrous run I'm flabbergasted. Best of luck on Saturday

 

Thank you Ron. We have tonight sacked our manager. Better late than never and out of the darkness there is always some light to be had. I thought he was sack proof. Mind you my betting record is there for all to see and it just reinforces how crap my judgement is.

It's going to be interesting on Saturday. The players have to walk off the pitch between two stands because of the main grandstand being rebuilt and the changing rooms being temporary in the car park outside. That walk will be like a million miles if we lose. Good incentive for the players not to lose then. We do have a habit of achieving relegation when it's on offer so I'm not going to build up any hopes.

 

Not off to Luton or Barnsley next season, will be playing Pompey or Sunderland again.

 

You can add Charlton to that list we will be going to at least two of the three

 

People I speak to about League 1 seem to think Charlton are favourites to win the play -offs

 

Peterborough getting slatted on the Pompey site, looks like we have lost our title of time wasters. Sorry Greeny on the Sunderland site they don't seem convinced they are going to win at Southend

 

I know phil I've read the comments. I have reminded them though so reckon things will be ok................(pharp!!) I got slated earlier in the season by Frattonites for being a sore loser when I pointed out a few Ref decisions in a game. Well what goes around comes around as they say. Join the rest of us in not getting decisions we think we should have. We still think Wycombe are a bunch of fallley down time wasters though so you at least keep your crown with some of us.................(I still read comments on our main fans forum with that in it. Some people just can't help holding a grudge. Life's too short to be honest. Whatever happens on Saturday will not be the first time and I will still be in my seat next season as usual. It's the only way I get to escape from the wife)

 

Meant to add............ What if Posh sneak into the playoffs and get to Wembley and beat Pompey in injury time. Imagine the wail that will erupt then.
