It's in the Bible (in case you are struggling)

"When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things" - Most famously, recently, used by Barack Obama (He's the current President of the USA - just so you know) in his inaugural address to the nation.

And no, I don't know this because I am a Vicar or deeply religious. I know this because I read. This helps me when I chat to 50year old women. Who in my experience are well worth flirting with!!!!

Also, buggered if I know why my post appears twice (Gideon to the Sodomites)

Yes i am indeed female - and yes i do enjoy watching football - we all are a very footballing family - me and my 9yr old son are season pass holders and my husband is a Coventry city supporter :( - really don't see a problem with women supporting football - but i know alot of men don't like it, but i don't have a problem with it - i'll keep supporting Hull City anyway.

My mum is 60 this year and is a pass holder in E4 and I go to City home and away as we have done for the last 19 years. She probably knows more about football and what goes on than most of the clueless idiots on here!

I'm the same age as him, and have no problem with other 20-year-olds flirting with those aged 50+.

It's just weird (and cringeworthy) when it's happening on a Football Forum.

If you are 20 and find flirting with 50 year old women is cringeworthy then don't do it. I'm 50 and love 50 year old women and I don't find it cringeworthy. However I don't flirt with 20 year olds so fair play to you. Seems to me the problem here is 20 year olds flirting with 50 year old women, not vice versa, so the problem is the 20 year old men, not the 50 year old women!

There's no problem with people of differing ages flirting in real life but on an internet football forum it's cringeworthy and detracts from what the point of the forum is about and that is football.
