I see Cam Pring. Has signed a new contract. Well deserved he’s been excellent this year, a real bonus. A credit to himself well done Cam.

2 years plus 1 why not 3 plus 1, should after 2 years not be wanted can put up for sale! or after 2 years re vise contract ...

Makes you wonder why City needed to spend a fortune on DaSilva.
DaSilva has never been the same since his injury.
I saw him as more or less a straight replacement for Kelly rightly or wrongly, so the logic was (I think) sell Kelly for a load of money and the cheaper DaSilva will slot straight in.
He didn’t do too badly until his injury. IMHO of course.

To be fair, JDS was signed in 2019, Pring was out on loans then getting much-needed experience. You can't compare then with now, as Pring was nowhere near the player he is now.
JDS and KP were, IMO always signings MA made happen as he wanted to forge strong relationships with Chelsea after the success of Tammy. Signing these 2, probably also allowed us to get Kalas from Chelsea, when we may not have otherwise. You win some, you lose some. Also, as BCFCRW said, he doesn't close to being as good now as he was before his injury.

I’ve never understood what people saw in him , always thought he was over rated, I accept he was better before his injury but no one of his fans I’m afraid, never worth the transfer fee or high wages imo

Completely agree with your comments about MA and Chelsea, the three seemed to be a ‘job lot’, whilst I like Kalas, wasn’t and still not impressed with the other 2

DaSilva from day 1 got caught with the ball inside him and his height was always a problem on the back post.

He was a poor expensive signing .
