But what I mean by that is this bolloxs about mistaking a 17 year for maybe a 21 year old (scenario) don't wear with me - because you would generally think people are younger than they are NOT older. Certainly not once you've got to 40+ years of age. They all look young enough to be your daughter (or son). I would say that once you are of middle age, mistakenly sleeping with somone under the age of 18 (Florida consent laws) is impossible.
I think that's why I fall out with Fan over all this type of shhite, the excuses just do not wash with me.

Slightly off topic and more light hearted approach to age, I was in hospital last week - anyhow when i first went in I was sitting waiting to be taken to the ward and I was near reception. So i could hear people being asked their date of birth as they come in, so it amused me to guess how old they were to pass the time. Some would whisper so wouldn't hear them, but others were quite clear...
Anyway, in comes this old girl, grey hair, a zimmer frame on wheels, with one of those seat things in the middle. Her sense of dress, well, someone in their 70's say no more. She gets asked her date of birth like the rest, her reply...well it was the same year as mine, I'm like fook off are yer, bolloxs to this game
