In a word, arrogance.

He thinks he’s a smart and too clever for us plebs, and that being who he is people will believe him.

Agree, it was the only logical answer I could put to his stupidity, that he is so arrogant, he actually can't see how bad this all looks.

More 'honourable' than the rest of us.

Self entitled **** basically

Yup, biggest car crash interview that I can ever remember. I really can't imagine what was going through his tiny little skull, even his advisor resigned because Andrew wouldn't listen to him not to do the interview.

I can't work out if it's pure arrogance or stupidity, a guy that see's himself as a leader and I would have thought intelligent. Yet there was not an ounce of intelligence in that interview. It's like he is so detached from the real world, that he thought he could fool the people. But it was like watching live a Pandoras Box be opened, it was like he was playing Russian Roulette and just blew his own brains out.

I actually felt the interview was so bad, I'd imagined that I'd be waking up the next day and seeing news headlines that he had topped himself. It was beyond any reckoning that I could attach psychologically - It was as if Aberdude's stories were all about to come true, that at any moment they were going to turn into Lizards, and we'd all be taken over by aliens. But it was clear he was no more than a slithering pompous snake and hopefully one that will be snared eventually.

Agree completely. Arrogance and the fact that he’s an absolute plank, combined.

Even making up medical conditions that don’t exist. Did he really think he’d not get called out on it?

You have to wonder about his motives for doing that interview.

Was it him trying to ‘get in first’ before new allegations came out?

Or was it him trying to clear his name. and take the heat off the Royal family, due to this story hanging around like a fart in a lift?

Either way, he ****ed clean up. As the interview was a car crash and he’s now got the problem that if he is ever charged or even interviewed by the FBI, then that interview can be referred back to, and his words picked apart.

A nice way of getting his story out there without being under oath.

I think, though not really sure, that the Queen is immune from any prosecution but not any other royals.

Still doesn't mean they're going to request the extradition of a member of our royal family though lol.
Not in Scotland she isn't.

The sweating was just cringe worthy, it was like a young kid getting nicked by the coppers and trying to find some reason for being caught red handed.

What the half wit should have said was
Yes I remember her she was a beautiful vivacious young lady that I believed to be 20 or 21 years old
I thought she may have been attracted to a 40 year old man because of my royal connections
I had no idea she was under age and under duress and can only apologise for what happened
Do I regret my association with Epstein? with hindsight yes I had no idea at the time that he was the monster he now appears to be

Pretty good summary .... unfortunately his breathtaking arrogance got in the way.

In reference to the duke's admission that he had a medical condition that meant he was unable to sweat, one reviewer wrote: "Love this place. I had a cracking pizza here in 2001. I remember it was 2001 because it was very strange the guy next to me had an American Hot pizza with extra chillies… not a drop of sweat came off him. Very odd."<laugh>
