Surely any referee, at Wembley in front of the cameras, wouldn't allow Wycombe to cheat in their usual way ...

... and you'd hope they'd have the self respect not to try.

Was saying the same thing earlier, playoffs are made up of three footballing teams and one that cheats and kicks players like I’ve never seen before.

You'd like to think it would be a decent referee for the playoffs.

I’d feel ill if we had Wycombe in the final. They absolutely would ****house their way to victory. At least MK Dons would try and play some actual football

**** that I'd rather play Wycombe all day long. MK just bashed a team 5-0 that we struggled to get a shot on target against 2 weeks ago. We will definitely beat Wycombe in the final and we will possibly beat MK in the final in my opinion.

Sheff Wed are no pushovers

Nobody is in this league which is why it went down to the wire. I think most of the top six have lost at least one game this season against their rivals.

I don’t even know who would be the favourites for the playoffs. It’s going to come down to which team turns up on the day…and also the referee.

I reckon the bookies will have us and Sheff Wed as joint favourites with MK third favourite and Wycombe as outsiders. This will be purely based on the size of club involved in my opinion and have nothing to do with current squads/form.

I'd say

Sunderland/Sheff wed 5/2
MK Dons 11/4
Wycombe 7/1

Summat like that

I am more confident defensively and a lot hangs on Broadhead being fit. Seeing McGeady on the bench was a big boost. He might have a say coming off the bench against his old club

Watching MK Dons v Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month, Sheff Wed were head and shoulders the better team, the score doesn't really reflect how much better they were on the day.

I think we really need to go for it in the first leg and have a cushion ahead of going to their place. If we go cautious like we did against Rotherham I’ll be worried.

A decent ref will see straight through Wycombes **** hack tactics. Probably one of the reasons they got relegated . Champo Refs are better then leauge one Refs. By rights it should be a Premier league ref for a grand stage like Wembley and on Sky.

The referee won't want to be seen as being intimidated by the Wycombe players shouting and waving imaginary cards ...

... nor will he fall for the dozen rolls over the pitch every time they're tackled.

I'd hope Wycombe show some dignity but I'm not holding my breath.

**** houses mate, pure and simple. We play better with better Refs. I'm sure we had a prem ref for Rochdale away on sky. ELF won't want the tin pots on sky like we have every week.
