This is Tony Parkes saving the penalty to win the 1984 UEFA Cup Final.
From a future Tottenham player's dad.
Arnor Gudjohsen, father of Eidur, for anyone that didn't know.
If anyone fancies feeling really old, Eidur's son now plays as a striker for Elfsborg in Sweden.
Sveinn Aron Gudjohnsen has already been around the block, despite only being 23.

Luckily, watching wrestling has made me feel old for years, given the amount of wrestlers who are kids of people I was watching in the mid-90s to early 2000s

Clemence Hoddle and Perryman all unable to play...a rookie keeper in goal for both legs...Burkenshaw's last game as our manager...were losing until the 84th minute...Danny Thomas missing the penalty in the shoot out...the fans singing his name...and then THAT save.

Great night
That was more or less my view on the night , great memories, me and my mates including dirty Barry nearly died that night after the game but that's another story

You know, I would swear that photo has been edited
(what are the chances that you would get the angle such
that the Shelf 'clock section' fits perfectly into the top left
corner of the view ?? ) .

Some of the best photos are so carefully planned (angles, foreground and background) that they can look false.

This was taken on the day and used...has a press stamp so I know it's genuine!

Remember it well!

John Hollowbread celebrating a goal for spurs against Chelsea in the 3rd round of the FA Cup in 1964 on a foggy night at WHL.

It's a really famous photo and it took me 8 years to find a genuine press one...still not as long as I have been try a genuine press photo of Jane Mansfield at WHL though <wah>

There used to be a thread for photoshop images, but couldn't find it as far back as the fifth page, so gave up and put it here. WARNING. Do not scroll down. You cannot unsee this. Who is it? None other than Schmeichel Jackson.
