Just listened to GT interview with Richard Gould.. the most unconvincing, uninspiring, going through the motions blah blah I’ve heard in a long time.. that was really hard work, getting anything positive from that..
Our identity high pressing, is he taking the piss?
Oh and they are nonstop working hard.. really??
And as for getting excited by the January window.. I feel it’s going to be as disappointing as our season.
Worrying times ahead..

Didn’t inspire confidence did it, if that is representative of the attitude at the top of the football club we’re going to get relegated. I’m flabbergasted at the lack of ideas, he thought our identity was high intensity, high press, he’s having a laugh.

It was bloody dreadful, I actually preferred listening to Mark Ashton.. at least he tried to be positive..
It worries me, that we look to be going backwards

The bloke is on drugs.
The players and the football is dire.
This coming from the man employed to run this football club.

Yes he should have said we were ****e, at least that would have been acknowledgement that all is not well and something needs to be done to put it right. All I heard, was, we are all working hard and a load of excuses, bullshit..
 
a rather staccato type interview didnt have any flow or any cast any real info into the light whats actually going on, as said by previous posters " not any enthusiastic comments ". teamtalk post , NP a goner!! not read it seems off the mark!
worrying thing was actually a lack of substance in the answers to 20man... no conviction bet he was sat there with everything crossed!!!!!!!
had to confirm twice City were not getting rid or he was leaving as first tranche was vague, and 20man had to query it. Regarding S&D seemed evasive, rushed over it. One thing that seemed to be related to this explanation would seem to confirm PS cancer was an opportunity to get a different assistant manager in... likely they [GOULD ] thought it was going to be the end of PS [ HEALTH REASONS AND UNABLE TO RETURN OR BE PROACTIVE! ] so jumped the gun. to be honest since his CF promotion over PS we have sunk very quickly ..... the next 8 games on paper look to be the easiest so far .... 24 points up for grabs .. less than 14 is is a dismal failure we have 5 home games 3 away [ Sheff Hull Luton ]

I think he did ... Blamed team for capitulating whilst rock steady behind CF .. stated didnt want to upset players before Jan window ... so a few likely to be gone! ... basically they are not up to scratch ..........
 
NP ... his illness is obviously deep seated, [ RG was at pains not to divulge anything, sign it is not a "normal illness "!] .... maybe verging on the edge of issues brought on by covid that has weakened his mental resolve? I did say weeks ago there was a major change in his general stature and mannerism's he was hunting for words and had a physical movement at certain points of an interview that seemed to be wary of the answer and how he delivered it ... pre last covid he would come out arrogantly and aggressive with a reply. I wish him all the best in a speedy recovery, but a lasting one as long as it takes.

Not how I read it, was just a holding statement, not admitting anything other than Nige out indefinitely, no one to replace him and definitely no Shakespeare coming in.
