The way it was done was obviously out of order, but can't really blame Newcastle for not renewing either of their contracts.

Yeah, went about it wrong, but both of the players should have expected to leave. Ryan's incredulous look made me smirk, come on lad, you've none naff all for years. Just because its Newcastle, people shouldn't feel obliged to be offended.
At least that means we won't have to worry about a Newcastle resurgence next season. There must be serious issues at that club for them to even consider Carver. He seems like he genuinely cares but he was so bad tactically, and that's before he publicly shamed his own players and lost the dressing room completely along with the fans.

James Milner will be an excellent signing. Much under-rated
I think the "talking" to will be explaining why he hasn't got the job and seeing if he is in the right frame of mind to work with the next manager, or just sacking him.

Old mate Brendan to carry on as Liverpool boss apparently. Great news i feel, the man is useless and this will finally give us the opportunity to finish above Liverpool, though i expect every past, present and future saints player to get the linked to them in the process of doing so.
