Mate. Chill. You had a bad day? He is clearly just meaning that we won't. I think that's pretty clear.

No it's not, because I said initially we won't. More precisely, I said we shouldn't, meaning altough it's within our bounds, it wouldn't be prudent. So if I already said that, why the need to correct me? Meaning it's not me who misunderstood Beefy, it's Beefy who misunderstood me, and I'm not in the mood to let it pass and take the blame.

I think it's clear what Beefy was saying. We won't spend stupid amounts of money on players, we never have under the Liebherr's. You're just picking holes unnecessarily.

We could spend £200m, but it won't happen. I could wake up tomorrow and get a wage rise of £10k. It all could happen, but won't.

It is well within our budget to stretch our wages by 120k a week, and even more. I could run the numbers, but I can't be arsed.
There's nothing stopping us giving that money to a single player. We won't because it's not prudent for a number of reason, but if we desire so, we could. And there's all that is to it. So there's was really no reason for you to go countering me.

Well it's not in our budget is it because there's no way Katrina Liebherr would allow that because if we gave one player that amount, a load of others would get pay rises - some will have match highest earner clauses, so no it's not in our budget to do that.

It was clear what I was saying. I said we can spend that money because we have a lot of maneuvering space before we reach our wage cap, and then I also said we won't. And then he started picking holes. And now I'm accused of it. Hilarious.

Those are reasons why we shouldn't, with which I agree, but not the reasons why we couldn't.

Come on Arsenal. Today and for the FA cup final.

If arsenal win Man U have nothing to play for next week at hull. Hull win, west ham beat the toon and they're down!

Yes, it is! It's precisely that!

Well, no. You don't know the clauses in players contracts and this is not football manager, I hardly believe any player has 'match highest earner' clause, otherwise all of them would be on Osvlado's wages, and they're not. And even if they would rebel when seeing someone having 120k wages, there's nothing obliging the club to give them bigger wages. They would, of course, be hugely dispirited and dissatisfied and therefore we really shouldn't do that, but we could.
