City offloading half their squad could be good for us. Would increase the likelihood of them looking at the likes of Morgan and Clyne - and having them involved in a bidding war (and armed for a lot of money from player sales, too) could help us get a few million more for them.

*Of course it isn't good if you retain hope that we might not sell these players in the summer. But if you accept that it likely to happen, then yes getting City involved can only help us.

Zabaleta doesn't look his old self so Clyne would be a upgrade.
 
City have got back-to-back home games next against West Ham and Aston Villa. If ever there was a six point haul to back, it's there.

Utd on the other hand have back-to-back away games against Chelsea and Everton.

We are not catching City. No way, no how.
