De Gea has really been something this game. Wilshere should have been off mind you.

Not even booked. Absolutely gutless from Mike Dean, if Wilshere played for one of the smaller teams he would have been off no doubt about it. Hopefully his injury will keep him out of our game against Arsenal instead of the suspension it should have been.

To be fair to Utd, they did very well. They have improved on their low period against the likes of Leicester City, and they have undoubted dangers in their side, but against a side that can control the pace of a game, like Saints can, they will find things quite a bit different, I think. Arsenal play pretty, pretty football and little else. They have no leaders and no reliable defence. And with everyone getting into support for attacks, that take so long it allows them to, they find themselves far too exposed at the back against a quality pace attack on the break, which ManU undoubtedly have.

Arsenal feels like Sanchez & Chamberlain. Nullify them and you have them beat. They'll get a lot better with Giroud back as a focal point for the attack.

So, we'll have the chance to go nine points clear of fourth on Monday, with a GD buffer of 15 or more. That's a wee bit nuts.

Not surprised by Manchester United winning against Arsenal as they have had the whip hand over them for almost the past decade. If Saints play with the intelligence instilled into them by Koeman there is no foreseeable reason not to expect a finish in the Top 4. It will be good for the Premiership if we can!!! Sorry we will finish in the top 4. I've said it!!!

We also have a fighting chance against all 3 of our next games as it stands.

Does anyone know when koscielny is back for arsenal. If he is still out for the game against us we have a good chance to get something out of that match.

BBC may lose the Prem highlights to ITV. ITV are bidding big for them, so may mean Adrian Chiles as host. :(

@_RyanAFC: Southampton win on Monday, they're 11 points ahead of us, bloody Southampton. Our aim is to now catch them to make the top four. **** sake.

On fire for the first 20 mins or so, then faded really badly to the point he was regularly losing possession....which explains why he's not getting a regular start.
