I was reminded of the following quote from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Apt for our situation...especially when you remember how Liverpool just missed out and are now struggling.

There is a tide in the affairs of men.
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.

Julius Caesar Act 4, scene 3, 218–224

Arsenal v ManU

Entertaining, open game, but the quality isn't any better than we've seen from our side. Nothing to be overly concerned about there.

Just seen Wilshere get injured again. Why, oh why, does he play like that..? He runs with a very long stride, so he's at full extension nearly all the time, with very little control. If he just ran slower he'd be more effective. Doesn't play with his brains at all. Off injured now, as per usual.

Nothing...just pointing out that you can't assume owt. Luckily, I don't think the Saints team does...they try and play it one game at a time.

Ah good. Of course you assume nowt, but neither do you fear when there's no reason for it. And it's just that every comment you had been making had an element of fear in it. There's not too much to fear from the other teams. I'm sure you're watching Arsenal v ManU, and there's nothing tremendously special there. Pretty good open game though.

Arsenal are playing into ManU's hands here. As usual they're taking 20 passes in attack where 10 would do, and it gives time for ManU to set up. I don't see Arsenal scoring at this rate, which is a bit boring, as I was hoping for a draw. I suspect someone is going to have to make a big mistake in the United defence. We live in hope..! :)
