Id like to see Lacazette from OL. 12 gls in 18 so far this season can play on the wings and in CAM. Good to run onto pelles knockdowns and rapiidoo! #signhimup.

I doubt he would come here, but you never know. Defo a player I'd buy. Never seen a more agile player, he's like a cat.

Yeah apparently he turned arseanal and liverpool down. Maybe double swoop for grenier and then we have a few froggies! Im sure morgan could persuade them if he is going to stay!

Collymore has just said on TalkSport that he expects that their larger squads will see them overtake us by game 20/25.
I think people underestimate how much of a gap 11 points actually is (especially as the three will have to play each other amongst other games)

I wonder when we will stop being dismissed. I assume it will only be if we beat Villa and then get 4+ points from the games against United, City and Arsenal (basically only lose one at maximum)

We have to beat Villa because it is another "easy" game per the media (despite Liverpool losing to them)

TalkSport, The Sun (ie Merson et al) are generally "right wing" in there footballing views (they're constant in that regard), they essentially hate the established status quo being challenged. It's interesting how perhaps wider political beliefs among the media commentators and chanels are being revealed by our irresistible rise.

As recent pieces about Saints in the broadsheet press attest (in depth), pieces about Southampton FC shouldn't be viewed as a hard sell to "Top Four" junkies; but necessary if you (both journalist and reader) want to know what the story of this and recent seasons is about.

What do you mean when you mention "wider political beliefs" being revealed?
