Not sure how Swansea have managed to get in Gomis as a reserve striker (probably on more than 50k a week).
Unless he is unhappy at being reserve behind the scenes it gives us hope with being able to sign a Pelle backup (if we chose to go into the market for that)

2-1, Chambers mugged off by Montero

He's only just come on, and Bafetimbi Gomis has his first Premier League goal to put Swansea ahead. Jefferson Montero, electric all night, skins Calum Chambers for the umpteenth time, stands up the cross and Gomis is head and shoulders above the Arsenal defence to head in.

Arsenal's defence is so ****ing ****. Sanchez may want to think about moving clubs, he's too good for Arsenal. We need a striker......

"Football, bloody hell!"

Still our position will only be supposedly "real," if we get results against the team who've lost against the teams we've beaten.

Surely Arsenal must be winning. It is one of the "easy" matches that we have had so far isn't it?
Without Koscielny and Debuchy Arsenal are relying on Sanchez to paper over some substantial cracks. And there is only so much one player can do

Let's see, 11 points ahead of Liverpool, Spurs and Everton, 9 ahead of Man United, 8 ahead of Arsenal as it stands, 4 ahead of Man City. Why the hell can we not finish in the top 4? I'm really starting to believe now.

But of course Chambers will start for England. There are certain players that Hodgson doesn't even watch and make the team / squad regardless (Smalling, Lambert, Chambers, Everton defence early in the season when they were the worst in the league)

Montero is frighteningly quick, and clearly too quick for Chambers
