As it stands, both Liverpool & Tottenham are in the bottom half of the Premier League. Also, both are currently 11pts behind Saints.

Even at this stage that's a hell of a gap to make up

Will take them four wins without us picking up any points. Couple of obvious counters:

- We are picking up points
- As it stands both only have 4 wins to date this season (so 40% win rate)
- The "six pointer" / double swing games against us they have to play away

Therefore we are already in a very positive position. It will be interesting to reflect again at Christmas

Tottenham Hotspur 0-2 Stoke City - Jonathan Walters 32'

I wonder what Levy's patience is like this season. They have a potentially tricky run over the next three games:

Hull (A)
Everton (H)
Chelsea (A)

Poch could be in trouble by early December.
But perhaps he will get more slack because he is just the coach and they really aren't his players (it is well documented who he wanted vs. who he ended up with)

Can you imagine going from having fullbacks of Clyne and Shaw (although I assume he knew Shaw was off), and a midfield of Schneirderlin and Wanyama to Rose, Naughton, Mason and Capoue? Why did they both signing the lad from Swansea at left back?

What on earth was going through Poch's head. I can only assume he was like many in the media (and many Saints fans as well) who knew lots of players would be snapped up by other clubs and had no faith in someone who wasn't his best buddy Cortese to sort it out. I also assume he was convinced he could take Morgan for a cut price fee (but ended up with Stambouli (who?)

I am still very disappointed we got nothing out of the game at WHL. We are pretty much better across the board. Only players who would potentially get into a combined 11 are Lloris (definitely), Lamela (when on form which is not often enough) and maybe Eriksen (but only in a number 10 as he isn't as effective wide as Tadic and we seem to prefer 3 more versatile central midfielders)

I wonder how this "easy game" is going for Spurs. I bet the media do not refer to it as such. Home to Stoke is only an easy game for us I assume

Also what did Paulinho and Sandro do to Levy / Poch to get sold / dropped. I know Paulinho had a shocker of a world cup but he has surely got to be better than Mason? Perhaps Levy has struck again and managed to make a substantial portion of his contract/wages appearance related. That is the only thing I can think of (unless he has an injury I am not aware of)

Paulinho's got to be on his way out in January.
