I just hope that the other sides in the league treat us with the same flippancy and disregard as virtually all the mainstream TV pundits (print media seem to be an exception to this)

Both BT commentators saying that it wasn't a red card but BBC news feed thinks it was.
I agree with the ref. Kaboul had missed it and if Aguero had not been pulled back he would have got on the end = clear goal scoring opportunity denied.

Yes, I agree. The ref waited until Kaboul had missed the ball before he gave it. Aguero would have been on it with only Lloris to beat, so a definite red card.
I don't think it was a red card. I would have been mightily pissed off if that was against us. No arguments about it being a penalty though.
Newcastle game delayed...big screen has come loose from supports. Fans not in as scaffolding up.
I was told at the time Townsend was back up, just in case we didn't get who we wanted.
