Is it just me who thinks this could well be the strongest Premier League ever this coming season. The weaker links & getting some good coats of hammerite on already.

I don't pay a great deal of attention to every sides ins and outs, but looking over our shoulder at a few teams who look like they will be ready to threaten our so called best of rest crown.

Not seen anyone look like they're in trouble yet, but who knows how it will work out for clubs with new managers

Palace had a good team in place, not much depth but their first team would give anyone a game. pardew has bought well and I am pleased that a palace manager has finally been given the cash, they should have given it to Pulis in the first place. Newcastle have added some quality, but their squad is still very average, as is their manager. Pool seems to be the most improved squad, but first team not much improved

I like the idea that Palace will do well, whilst Newcastle continue to struggle. Their fans turned on Pardew, not because of his performance, but because of his perceived relationship with the owner. What was he supposed to do...stage a revolution? I heard this first hand from some Newcastle fans and confirmed by the media. They also would rather see Newcastle relegated than remain under their present ownership....sheer madness.

Not sure if much has been said, but a massive tip of the hat to Fabian Delphi for staying at Villa. If City did bid for him, that's a great decision and well done to not be turned by bigger cash and brighter lights.

Agree with that. Strangely made me think of people with bad beards....and I can't think why.
