Sorry can't find a Scottish thread. Stock exchange informed Ally McCoist has resigned, but is on a 1 year notice period at an increased wage. Well that's a new one.

If McCoist cares as much about Rangers as he has always said, then why not walk away from his cash-strapped club? He clearly doesn`t think he`s the man for the job. He`s been there for the best part of 30 years and earned millions from them - hypocrite. He was earning £800k in the Scottish 3rd division, earning (sorry, getting) more than the budget of several clubs, and was shamed into cutting it to a measly £400k.

from what i read it's other people he thinks aren't right for their jobs.

rangers can moan about what he was earning but they liked getting a transfer fee for davis.

So he's basically admitting what we all know - that he's not a good manager. It's all down to what club he's at not his ability.
