So Man Utd's injuries are getting worse. Blind has suspected knee ligament damage.

Unable to go to sleep so I read back through some match reports, and came across a Yahoo Sports report of the Leicester game. It was pretty standard stuff, but then I read a word and realised I'd finally seen it all. Here's an extract containing the word. See if you can spot it:

...Substitute Shane Long scored twice as the Saints beat a plucky Leicester side to maintain the pressure on Chelsea.

Right. That wooden hill certainly beckons now. See you later today.

Hooray for the Daily Mirror. they have taken this article from Goal, published at 19.12 today, essentially copied it and published it at 20.54, just over an hour and a half later. Blimey are they slow..?

Oh..! Morgan may want to move on at the end of the season, if we don't end up in Europe. Not exactly meltdown stuff is it.

If we got top four (assume in a non-qualification game spot) at the expense of Arsenal, and Arsenal tried to buy Morgan in the summer, do you reckon he'd go? Would be an unequivocal display of where footballers' real motivations lie.

ManU has announced a £9.8M drop in revenues over the last 12 months, and their gross debt has risen to £362.2M. One wonders how long they can be allowed to carry on in that condition. They are a business, not a country.

That's quarterly revenue.

Still 350-400m annually.

That is what happens when a club is bought by someone raising the purchase price by mortgaging the club. In a way, it's how most of us buy a house, but we (hopefully) pay the mortgage off.

There's a subtle difference.

Your house doesn't owe the money and whoever your house passes to won't bear the debt. If your house sells for less than you owe you still owe the balance.

I see there is some debate about live Premiership games again:

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30097673

Having been in Serbia for the last 10 years I didn't realise that none of the 3 o'clock games could be watched live in England. In Serbia, on my cable feed I can watch the early game. one of the 3 o'clock games and the late game on Sport Klub (for free). Do you really think that attendances for the 3 0'clock games would be affected by one of them being shown live? Do you stay at home and watch it on TV when you can go to the match?
