Yea the season before last when I won by a whole bunch we all had a conversation about possibly banning my strategy.
I'm assuming no-one was really serious ? I predict you & I , like everyone else, will be very close to the average points per man-week played...i.e. approx 5 .75. That means 42.5 percent of the time we can't even predict a win or loss or tie for any given game (10 points available) , let alone an accurate score (that is an approx 81 % failure rate on predicting exact scores, for which 30 points are available). How many of the 46 games available each week, of which someone randomly picks 10 games are going to end up with a 2-1 or 1-2 score ? Your strategy worked out well for you this week, bet you get somewhere near 3 points next week Congrats on 3 consecutive wins in a row btw.
Yea people were serious and I was kinda on their side and said I would stop if we changed the rules. I found the old thread. That year I averaged 7.87 points a week, I had 52 correct scores and I had 7 weekly wins. I had 8 more correct scores than the next closest person but only had one more weekly win.

For the third week in a row, ellewoods takes the weekly high score prize with 16 points. That's twice he's managed the rarefied pinnacle of 16 points this season. And he's not even from a noted historic hotbed of football hooliganism. It's becoming monotonous. Bloody well done ellewoods.
