I have gone for 11 - 15 and hope I have under estimated it. Would be grand to have a top half finish!
I'm LOVING the optimisim!! Same as in the ' Goals For' predictions. Let's hope we'll ALL still be this positive by the time 'the Villains' visit CR!!
Can see you coming 12th...15th at worse. Newcastle, Villa, Bournemouth, Brighton and sheffield United will be below you...there is s chance that Watford and Southampton could really struggle too.
I had 15th on my mind over the past few weeks. I think we'll score enough to stay up but concede too many to make it a comfortable ride. Farke might surprise us though with his defensive experiments in pre-season. "For sure" if we can tighten up the back whilst maintaining our impressive attack stats we're going to be a big surprise for the PL regulars. Head: 15th. Heart: 10th.
Do not think we will go down like so many of the so-called media experts think we will, but because Farke and so many of the players are new to the premier league think we may have a difficult first season ack in the premier league but will improve our position the next season after having a season's experience in the Premier league. See Newcastle, Sheff Utd & either Brighton or Crystal Palace going down.
Really hard to make a call right now. Prem transfer spending looks like it's barely starting, Villa and Sheffield United apart. Palace - lost Wan-Bissaka, lost Batsuayi, might lose Zaha. Experienced but aging squad with few stand-out talents, reliant on Roy's tactics to keep them up. If Zaha goes, they'll probably have nearly £80m to spend, but until they spend it no decent striker. Newcastle - look like an absolute basket case. Their £40m striker is highly rated (if overpriced), but again another club who only stayed up through good management. Bruce had no say in their new striker, can he make him deliver? Sheffield Utd- Cardiff seems an apt comparison. Bought good Championship players, but is it enough? Feel they over-achieved last season, and there's very few in their squad you'd think are still developing into better players. Villa - Will it blend? Talent on paper, but Fulham said the same. Brighton - New manager, who started slowly at Swansea. Can he keep them defensively solid whilst using all the attacking talent they bought last year, that Hughton had no idea what to do with? Burnley - underwhelming summer recruitment so far, but no European football so they'll probably be fine. They were much better once out of Europe last year. Again not sure of their goal threat. With us in the mix as well, I think that's 14th-20th. Bournemouth, Southampton, Watford, Leicester, Wolves to fill the rest of mid-table in relative comfort. West Ham could do literally anything.
Haha, don't be silly. The 1 pint will do Sir. You won the last one. Not going to the Atalanta friendly with Father and Brother in law. Mother in laws fall needs an operation. So they can't leave her alone. Might still go with my F, but not sure yet.
Thank you. Would rather see Atalanta if I could only see one, but the Saturday match would be easier to get to. I'll see.
